Born in 1958 and raised on a farm near Kingston, Ontario, Barry Fisher found his creative voice in the fields, forests, and skies of the Canadian countryside. Mentored in his teen years by neighbour and artist Linda Heatherington, he developed a deep appreciation for the natural world and the way light transforms the landscape.
